The Wolf's Lair audio/video feed contains metadata that provides enhanced, DVD supplement-type features such as text captions and commentary, popup images relevant to the content, chapter stops and can even load a website when something to be found on it is mentioned. You can separately enable either the text captioning or popup features, or both, as detailed below.
WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER
CAPTIONING
Text captioning appears above the equalizer when enabled, and changes as the stream plays.
To enable it, right-click above or below the visualizer area, then select:
Play> Lyrics, Captions, and Subtitles> On if Available
Windows Media Player menu
CHAPTER STOPS
Chapter stops (also called File Markers) allow you to jump directly to the beginning of a segment of the audio/video, such as the next question in an interview. To jump to a chapter stop, right-click above or below the visualizer area, then select:
View> File Markers> chapter marker

INTERACTIVE POPUPS
Interactive popups are pre-programmed and can include images and web pages that will appear when a relevant subject is being discussed. Wolf's Lair podcasts include a text-caption advisory approximately ten seconds before a popup will appear.
To enable the popups, click the arrow below "Now Playing," then select More Options...
Click the "Security" tab, then enable the checkbox "Run script commands when present."
Note: It is recommended that you un-check the box after you are done playing the podcast.
